CAD File Guide

Before you choose a design

Every purchase is for a digital design file. No physical jewelry is shipped.

  1. Review the product images, measurements, and design details.
  2. Check the formats included in that specific listing. File formats and included components vary.
  3. Confirm your software can open the supplied format.
  4. Contact us before ordering if you need a different size, format, or mechanism configuration.

Understanding file formats

3DM: A Rhino model file. Editing options depend on how the model was built.

STL: A mesh file commonly used in 3D printing workflows.

STP / STEP: A CAD exchange format. Available only where explicitly included.

Preparing for production

Have your jeweler or manufacturer check scale, wall thickness, stone seats, assembly clearances, and process tolerances before printing or casting. Metal weights are estimates and depend on alloy and production choices.
